What you’ll learn
Intro to training/warmup
purposeful reps, development over quick fixes, consistency, effort, and how you approach athletes differently based on their needs.
Teach athletes why taking 200 bad swings isn't necessarily better than 50 purposeful ones.
hitting drills and approach
pieces We look at when evaluating a hitter: setup, load, direction, rotation, barrel path, contact and finish. The message isn't “fix yourself”; it's understood what your coach is looking at.
Counts, zones, hunting pitches, two-strike approach and understanding what you're trying to accomplish instead of just “see ball, hit ball.”
Pitching arm care, developing Pitchers
Arm care, gradual intensity, mechanics/movement, intent, recovery and velocity.
Recovery, sleep, hydration, soreness versus pain, basic arm-care concepts, and why throwing every day isn't automatically better
