Caden Bushey- Youth Hitting & Pitching Trainer

Caden Bushey joins 802 Baseball Lab as a Youth Pitching and Hitting Coach, bringing 15 years of playing experience and a passion for helping young athletes build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and grow their understanding of the game.

Caden was a three-year varsity baseball player at Essex High School and was a member of the 2022 State Championship team. In addition to his high school career, he competed in four years of summer travel baseball and was selected to participate in the invite-only Fire55 Showcase.

Following high school, Caden continued his baseball career at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), where he competed as a pitcher at the collegiate level. His experience on the mound gives him a strong understanding of pitching mechanics, arm care, command, preparation, and the mental side of pitching.

Caden is also a coach within the 802 Lab Rats travel baseball program, serving as a pitching coach for the 14U team. Working closely with younger athletes has allowed him to develop a coaching style centered around clear instruction, positive reinforcement, accountability, and making training enjoyable.

At 802 Baseball Lab, Caden works primarily with youth baseball players looking to establish a strong foundation in pitching and hitting. Whether an athlete is just beginning private training or looking to take the next step in their development, Caden focuses on meeting each player where they are and helping them build skills that translate to the field.
